January 2011: Prelam Facilities to Open Just'a Drop and Dizolve Manufacturing
Prelam's team is really proud to announce the opening of Just'a Drop and Dizolve production facility in Moncton, New Brunswick. The Moncton production facility will turn out 12,000 Dizolve sheets a day however, when full automation of the system is completed later this year, production will reach 100,000 sheets per day to meet growing demand.
April 2011: Prelam to distribute laundry sheet for Earth Day in Moncton
On April 21st, Prelam will be giving away 10 loads of Dizolve Laundry Detergent Sheets in honour of Earth Day. Bring one of your empty detergent jugs and exchange it for a free pack of Dizolve! The major sites will be Walmart Trinity from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM, Lawton on Mappleton from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM, Jean Coutu in Riverview from 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM and Wal¬-Mart Champlain Place from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
April 2011: Dizolve 32 Loads plastic bag launched in Canada.
Dizolve's newest item has been launched in select Walmart stores across Canada. Find Dizolve in the laundry detergent aisle for only $5.97!
May 2011: Prelam and Dizolve Group Corp. in PLMA international show in Amsterdam.
From May 24th to 25th, Prelam and Dizolve Group Corp. will be represented at Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA) show in Amsterdam. Found in 1979, PLMA's membership ranges from multinational corporations to small companies. Their products include food, beverages, snacks, health and beauty, household and kitchen, housewares, DIY, and personal and leisure products.
June 2011: Prelam invites Riverview and Moncton's mayor to wash their dirty laundry
Its not every day you catch politicians washing their dirty laundry in public, but that is exactly what the mayors of Moncton and Riverview did today. It wasn't about stains or scandal, though. On June 8th, the mayors were doing their wash to celebrate the global launch of a locally made product, Dizolve Laundry Detergent Sheets and the expanding success of its makers.
June 2011: Prelam extends its facilities
Prelam is expanding its office and warehouse space from 3000 square feet to 11,000 square feet to adapt for its manufacturing needs and its ever expanding workforce. Congratulations Prelam!
October 2011: Prelam sponsors RBC Amazing Chase
On Friday September 16th, the Greater Moncton Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with AIDS Moncton hosted The RBC Amazing Chase! The event featured teams from local business groups or friends competing in a battle of speed, strength, wits, and cunning. The event covered Moncton, Riverview and Dieppe, and showcased many local companies and attractions. Each participant received samples and we donated Dizolve detergent and Just a Drop for the winners prize packs.
Proceeds went to support the work of AIDS Moncton and The Greater Moncton Chamber of Commerce.
October 2011: Dizolve Group as a Business NB winner
Prelam is proud to receive the award for the most innovative small business 2011 by Business New Brunswick. The award dinner will take place on Monday, October 17, in Frederiction.
